APOSTOLIC & PROPHETIC
Why We Are Apostolic/Prophetic
"Apostolic" describes the teaching and practices of the Apostles. Apostles walked boldly, released revelation, knowledge, and wisdom, and performed miracles; they established church government and spiritual authority.
"Prophetic" relates to the Prophet and prophesying by God's supernatural power – Prophetic writings, personal prophecy, corporate prophecy, prophetic teaching, direction, mighty acts, and deeds. The ability to tell the future.
The Apostolic – Prophetic ministry comes to restore the ministry gifts of the Apostles and Prophets to Christ's original purpose to the Church, along with the teacher, pastor, and evangelist. Apostles and Prophets prepare, equip, mentor, teach and train the saints to manifest the kingdom of God on earth.
Apostles and Prophets are both foundational gifts. Apostles and Prophets work together to unite the Church; they form powerful teams to bring upgrades, revelation, and impartation to churches and leaders in different regions and territories.
The wisdom, strong commitment, and powerful deeds of apostles and prophets can be seen throughout the book of Acts and the epistles. They can persevere through persecution, and suffering is a predominant feature of Apostles and Prophets.
The Holy Spirit empowers apostles and Prophets to perform supernatural acts!
Acts 1:8 Be My wittiness to the ends of the earth – evangelize the world and carry the Gospel's message far and wide.
Jesus said in Luke 11: 49, "I will send you Apostles and Prophets…"
I Corinthians 12: 28 "God has in appointed in the church, first Apostles, second Prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then the gift of healings, helps, administration, and various kinds of tongues.
The Church must fully receive the ministry gift of the Apostle and Prophet enabling the supernatural power of God to be released in a greater dimension to perform miracles, heal bodies and build effective churches.
Ephesians 2: 20 – 21"Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the chief cornerstone, In whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord.
The apostle and the prophets are the foundations of the church; to equip, build, fit together and for the growth of the believers into a mature and lacking nothing mighty in power and demonstration.
